Contribution to ZINE "Gessei Zine Vol.1"

This book began with the people who gather at Library Gettou.
It introduces stories from the little worlds each of us inhabits.
We are the Gessei Zine (the Moon People).⁡

Gettou is a small library with its own librarian. I contributed to Gessei Zine Vol.1, a zine in which each contributor portrays the neighborhood around Gettou from their own perspective.

For my contribution, I explored the theme of “sounds of the city,” combining photographs taken on the street in front of Gettou with field recordings made there. Although the zine was created by a small team, an art director and designer were also involved, resulting in a beautifully crafted publication. I hope many people will have the chance to pick up a copy.
