From 2021 until around March 2025, I released music and photography under the name Teruyama Momiji. In April 2025, after joining a research laboratory at university and beginning to engage in more academically oriented artistic practice, I started to reconsider the personal creative work I had pursued up to that point. As a result, I have refrained from publicly releasing my own music since then, (although I continue to write songs in private).

At the same time, I have gradually come to see my creative practice beyond the distinction between academic and non-academic work, returning to projects rooted in my own interests and curiosity. Going forward, as HAYASHI Tomohiro, I hope to continue making music as one part of my artistic practice at a sustainable pace. I would also be happy to have opportunities to create work in collaboration with others.
