Photo exhibition "Beyond the Window"
Fukuoka Higashi Library
When we look through a window, we rarely notice the window itself.
Yet it quietly stands before the landscape, framing what can be seen.
Even when we are looking, we never see everything.
These are the views we chose to frame with our cameras.
A collaborative exhibition with photographer MATSUDA Momoka. Invited by the Fukuoka Higashi Library, we presented an exhibition in the Civic Gallery. Conceiving the camera's gaze as a view through a window, each of us selected 100 photographs from our personal archive, constructing the exhibition from a total of 200 images.
And quite literally, the photographs lie beyond the window.
